Who we are

We are committed to continuous improvement, delivering high-quality products at competitive prices, backed by friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.

Since it started operations in the mid-1990s in Tuticorin, India, Jeyanth has steadily expanded its geographical coverage and range of operations to serve customers around the world. Today, it is a truly global operator serving the shipping and marine industries on all continents.

We ensure the rapid delivery of provisions and essential supplies to ship crews, providing only the highest quality food and beverages that meet ‘high catering quality’ standards. Given the limited access to healthcare at sea, food safety remains our top priority.

We collaborate with shipowners, fleet management companies, and catering providers serving the maritime industry. At the request of captains or maritime agents, we also fulfill urgent orders for docked ships. Our approach is highly personalized – we respect each customer’s unique needs and engage fully in every complex order.

Infrastructure

Our infrastructure gives us the possibility to offer General Services along Bay of Bengal and Arabian coastline in whole of India.

Our Transportation

A key challenge in ship provisioning is ensuring seamless coordination between warehousing and delivery. Timing mismatches can lead to delays, inefficiencies, and potential risks to product integrity. “Our Reefer truck” is designed to transport temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring they remain fresh during transit. These trucks are equipped with refrigeration units that maintain specific temperature ranges, making them essential for industries like food and pharmaceuticals.

Our Warehouse

Jeyanth’s headquarters and modern logistics center are located near the port of Tuticorin, India. Our 7,000-square-foot facility includes a 2,500-square-foot warehouse, a 700-square-foot advanced cold storage and freezer unit, and 3,000 square feet of office space. We supply a full range of ship provisions, stocking around 19,000 standard items. Our dedicated team provides 24/7 support, committed to meeting your fleet’s needs anytime, every time.

Cold Storage Units

Cold storage units are specialized refrigerated spaces used to store perishable and temperature-sensitive goods like food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and medical supplies. These units maintain controlled low temperatures to preserve product quality, prevent spoilage, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the supply chain. Maintains optimal moisture levels for certain goods (e.g., produce or flowers).

Quality Control Procedure

Audit for Food Safety

Food safety audits are critical assessments conducted to ensure that food handling, storage, and preparation on ships comply with international safety standards. These audits help prevent contamination, maintain hygiene, and ensure compliance with global regulations such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ISO 22000, and WHO food safety guidelines.

  • Enhances Food Quality – Maintains freshness, proper storage, and hygienic handling.

Hygiene Inspection

Hygiene inspection is a critical process in the maritime industry to ensure ships maintain high sanitary standards for crew members, passengers, and cargo. Regular hygiene inspections prevent contamination, control infections, and comply with international health regulations like IMO, WHO, and HACCP standards.

  • Ensures Safe Food & Water – Maintains cleanliness in storage and consumption areas.

Emergency Response Plan

An Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is a structured set of procedures designed to handle unexpected incidents onboard a vessel efficiently and effectively. It minimizes risks, ensures the safety of crew and passengers, and helps maintain operational continuity during emergencies.

  • Ensures Compliance – Meets international maritime safety regulations (SOLAS, ISM Code, IMO).

Temperature Control

Temperature control is a critical factor in maritime logistics, ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of perishable goods, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive cargo. Proper temperature management helps preserve product integrity, prevent spoilage, and maintain regulatory compliance during shipping and storage.

  • Preserves Product Quality – Prevents deterioration of perishable items like food, medicine, and chemicals.
